Important information about your visit on December 11th 2021 and December 12th 2021:

On Saturday, 11 December 2021, the museum will only open from 2 pm. The main entrance will not be accessible on this day. Instead, the entrance on this day will be at the rear of the building (Auguste-Viktoria-Straße) and access will only be possible via the south courtyard "Südhof". On Sunday, 12th December 2021, accee to the museum will also only be possible via the south courtyard. The museum is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Family: Admission is free to children under 18, when accompanied by a parent.

*The special exhibitions ticket also covers entry to the permanent exhibitions.

Admission is free to school classes and groups affiliated with educational institutions, including 2 accompanying adults.
Admission is free to children 18 and under.

Museum Wiesbaden is located centrally, directly at the beginning of the culture mile:
800 m walk from the main railway station, 650 m from the market place, 900 m from the Kurhaus

Travel to Wiesbaden Hauptbahnhof with Deutsche Bahn or the S1, S8 or S9 from the directions of Frankfurt and Mainz

City busses:
Stops: "Rheinstraße" and "Wilhelmstraße"

Car or coaches:
A 66, exit Wiesbaden-Erbenheim towards city center (Stadtmitte), parking garage "RMCC"



Finding your way around the museum with the orientation map.

There is free Wi-Fi in the lobby area as well as in the entire central building.


Barrier-free access is available to the left of the main entrance. Our lecture hall is equipped with an audio induction loop system for the hearing impaired.
Wheelchairs, strollers and portable stools are available for loan in the foyer.

Museums Café

The café is open to visitors. The café offers hot drinks to go. Guests with a current-day negative corona test, proof of immunizations on their vaccination card, or a convalescent certificate can have drinks and
food on site.

On 30.07.2021 the café will be open at noon from 12:00 Uhr.
